The Living Christ # 3

I remember when I first joined the Church being blown away by the concept that Jesus Christ was the Jehovah of the Old Testament. My upbringing in the Church of England had not taught me that. To me that means that Christ has been with us from the beginning. He watched as we made all the mistakes, performed all acts—evil, and good—and learned what the ramifications of His offer to sacrifice Himself for our sins entailed. And still He feels that we are worthy to be redeemed, and He voluntarily came to earth to do what He could for those around Him physically and then performed the momentous act of the Atonement for everyone else.
