The Living Christ #4
Even though we didn't have Sunday School on Mothers' Day, we thought it better to press on. And I apologize for the lack of graphics in the previous two entries. It isn't sufficient to copy and paste! Which brings me to a thought on this week's section. If we are to observe the Sabbath as the Lord would have us do, and understand His atoning sacrifice, then seeking for shortcuts probably isn't be best course of action! The LeDoux's taught us today the right way to approach discipleship and to recognize that His gift is for all "who would ever live upon the earth." I italicized ever because time has no effect on divine acts. When Christ atoned for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross, that act stretched back to the beginning when He came down to organize the earth, and forward to the time when the earth shall be "rolled together as a scroll" (Mormon 9:2).
